the aim of the project is to join the coast of the tiber with the city (in this particular case via portuense). the coast in rome is not used at all, people are not coming there. the coast of the river should be the place, where people can relax. this district of rome is the dormitory zone, so we wanted to create a place for citizens, where they could gather (the steps-ramps and cafe), and also share their interests (theatre-cinema part inside the building).
