I believe in the power of the Higher Force, be it called God, Energy or any other name, which takes care of us, makes everything happen in the right time and right place. If we just pay attention, we will see that it really is so. To me, all religions share the same message of Love and the same Universal truths. Some of them, that are unique to all people and that touched my soul in a special way, I share here with you.

Psalms are one of main representatives of medieval calligraphy.
They were written by biblical prophets, and were one of the favourite works to copy in monasteries in the Middle Ages. Collection of psalms binded in a book is called a Psalter. Psalms are inspired messages which are read in different occasions.

I make them by hand on aged paper and colour them by acrylic paints and inks. You will notice my love for golden ink, which I use abundantly.
I begin my story with this psalm, which was also my first calligraphic order. It was made as an inscription for a  tattoo, and was to be written in Hebrew font.
This directed me into rediscovering the psalms, so this one is very special to me.

''Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me in the shadow of Thy wings'', ps 17:8.
Most of my clients so far are from Croatia.
So, naturally, I wrote my first inscriptions on Croatian language.
For every inscription I also make copies in English.

This is how the Croatian version of this psalm looks like:
One of my great passions is teaching others.
I sincerely enjoy in spreading the knowledge about calligraphy.
I do that orally, at my workshops, but also through my products.

Each Kalidar, on its backside, contains the description of the font used and the time in history when it was used. This fulfils my mission of spreading the knowledge.

Here it is written that I used the gothic font textura quadrata, the most recognizable medieval font, which was used from 13-16th century. The initial letters are the Lombardic capitals, used from 11-16th century.
