Family, Strangers, Friends, Myself

THEME: FAMILY
PROCESS: (photograph) Adjusted the ISO, exposure and hue in-order to obtain the desired effect.
TECHNIQUES: Digital Photography,
REASONING:I chose this image because it was one of the few times in the day where my mother gets to sit still and relax with wine while reading a book.
THEME: A STRANGER
PROCESS: digital photography
TECHNIQUES: Digital Photography, very low iso and shutter speed. incamera hue adjustment
REASONING: I chose this image because the lighting within the image completely erases the identity of the person in the image.
THEME: A FRIEND
PROCESS: (photograph) Adjusted the ISO, exposure and hue in-order to obtain the desired effect.
TECHNIQUES: Digital Photography, florescent lighting, high iso, fast shutter speed
REASONING:Taken in a class exercise the classmate (hilda) stood at a 90* angle to the light source to completely encase her body in darkness.
THEME: A Self Portrait (Photo)
PROCESS: Digital Photography,
TECHNIQUES: (photograph) Adjusted the ISO, exposure and hue in-order to obtain the desired effect.
REASONING:
IMAGE 4 (Myself)- I took this image just on the brink between dusk and night providing dark purple tones to the image.
WEEK 2
THEME: A self portrait (Illustrated)
TECHNIQUES: Short, feathered strokes and lots of reworking inorder to achieve a very heavily lined portrait.
PROCESS: Sketching (HB Pencil, black pen)
REASONING: drawn in a class exercise. The Rough lines within the image could be seen as the imperfections that our insecurities make us think we have
WEEKLY REFLECTION: This week is relatively easy as there were no real obstacles to bypass or overcome within each of the tasks.
