A STROKE OF COLOUR

A passion project I had done for the love of my hometown, Darjeeling. 

Darjeeling is a small hill station located in the foothill of the Himalayas. World over, it is known for the tea it produces however for me, it is my home. The place where I ran among pine trees and blue skies. 

I wanted to combine photos I had taken with a scene from a fairytale. I wanted it to represent the stories I was told as a child with the scenery of my hometown behind it.

This set of postcards was a result of that thought!

Harry Potter inspired postcard with The Darjeeling toy train.

The postcards were sold in local cafés and bookstores in Darjeeling.
