With an almost endless supply of old and broken skateboards at my disposal (And an itch to create) I, along with the brains and giant workshop owner Dave decided to up-cycle and create a table from the old skateboards.
Initially it started as a personal project to create a coffee table for my own house. After I posted it on the internet and received numerous messages asking about "How much?" and "Where can I get one!?" we decided to do the next logical step and work on commissions, leading to Primo Collective.
Below is our second table we made, and our first table we sold! Thank you ever so much to Jono for firstly even finding my original design and to then trust me to make something for his lovely house!
The table is made from almost 30 old skateboards, sanded back, graphics and griptape all painstakingly removed. This particular table sits on black steel hairpin legs and is surrounded by a Sapele hardwood border. Many more of our pieces of work can be found on our instagram account. @primocollective
