GestureTek created an out-of-this world multitouch and gesture controlled immersive exhibit at Discovery CUBE OC, California, to teach the next generation of innovators about the wonders of aerospace and the science behind launching rovers and satellites. The attraction allows visitors to step inside a replica of the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab’s control room to enjoy the ultimate hands-on space mission. The multitouch tablet app wireless transmits each visits custom space craft into a waiting que, where it is then projected onto the main wall. Visitors can then interact with their creations via simple hand and body movements, triggering various forms of edutainment content.
