Student project that reimagines the cover design for Kazuo Ishiguro’s 2005 dystopian novel Never Let Me Go.  The brief asked us to create a handmade design.  I chose free-hand embroidery to depict the themes of connection and loss present throughout the book.  I enjoy incorporating textiles into a design to add depth and texture.
