Flow Tablestool

Flow Tablestool
A multifunctional furniture piece that assists in cultivating flow.
Inspired by the adaptability of stools and task furniture in history, this piece considers the ways in which a stool can be mindful of its potential uses and explores how furniture can nurture an environment for flow-inducing activities.

The shaped seat or table top’s raised side and back edges serve as visual and tactile indicators of surface boundary. The bevel on the front edge provides a comfortable resting spot for arms and legs. The drawer features a groove for holding writing instruments.

Flow Tablestool debuted at “+ Tools for Sitting“, a collection curated by Join Design that showcased the works of 10 designers from across the US at Interior Design Show West 2016 in Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
