Primary focus on this event will be supporting UGG’s efforts to enforce farmers and suppliers to comply with the strict Animal Welfare Guides; believes mulesing is cruel and inhumane.
Requires that suppliers certify that the sheepskin comes from sheep have not been mulesed. Further, will only accept Merino wool from Australia from certified non-mulesed or ceased-mulesed wool sourcing.
Selects suppliers who meet our strict standards of ethical sourcing, including animal welfare. We require all of suppliers to use humane animal treatment in order to prevent animal abuse and animal cruelty.
