CASA YARUMO
Yarumo UPB es el proyecto con que la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana participó en la competencia internacional Solar Decathlon Latinoamérica y el Caribe 2015 realizada en Cali, el objetivo del mismo era enfocarse en buscar soluciones a las condiciones específicas de los trópicos, dónde se construyó una vivienda social además de apuntar a la educación ambiental.
Yarumo UPB is the project with which the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana participated in the international Solar Decathlon Latin America and Caribbean 2015 competition in Cali, the objective was focus on find solutions to the specific conditions of the tropics, where social housing was built, as well as environmental education.
El grupo Yarumo estaba conformado por un grupo interdisciplinar de 33 estudiantes de carreras de Arquitectura, ingeniería Mecánica, Química, Eléctrica y Electrónica, Diseño Industrial y Gráfico, Comunicación Social y Periodismo.
The Yarumo group consisted of an interdisciplinary group of 33 students in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical and Electronics, Industrial Design and Graphic Design, Social Communication and Journalism.
La vivienda está pensada para que impacte social, económica y ambientalmente a las poblaciones latinoamericanas de los trópicos.
Social: Incorporar dentro de la casa costumbres y dinámicas propias de la región.
Económico: Implementar materiales propios de Colombia que son accesibles y de precios amigables.
Ambiental: Uso de energía alternas como la solar haciendo uso de las metodologías bioclimáticas.
Todo lo anterior se desarrolló con un referente real el cuál es el Barrio Yarumito en Itagüí, Antioquia, Colombia.
The housing was designed to impact socially, economically and environmentally the Latin American populations of the tropics. As for the social, incorporates within the house customs and dynamics of the region: social interaction between neighbors and common spaces (equipment) for socialization. In the economic terms, Colombia and its surrounding materials are implemented, which are accessible and at user friendly prices. In addition it is implemented the solar energy. All of the above was developed with a real reference which is the Barrio Yarumito in Itagüí, Antioquia, Colombia.
Se desarrolló un sistema de muebles basados en las necesidades y requisitos del concurso, además de realizar de manera estratégica los diseños en cuanto a la implementación de ensambles, materiales, modulación procurando la estandarización de procesos en las diferentes piezas, logrando que con la misma herramienta se produzcan varias piezas, con esto no sólo se reducen gastos de producción, también se conserva el mismo lenguaje entre los componentes del sistema.
A system of furniture was developed based on the needs and requirements of the competition, We use a strategically design realizing in terms of the implementation of assemblies, materials, modulation, seeking the standardization processes in the different pieces, achieving that with the same tool parts are produced, not only reducing production costs, also maintaining the same language among the system components.
En este sistema de viviendas se tienen en cuenta elementos que favorecen el confort como: temperatura, humedad relativa, iluminación natural y artificial, ventilación y la implementación de objetos que satisfagan las necesidades de los usuarios y las funciones para las cuales fueron diseñados. A partir de esto, fue ideal desarrollar sistemas de mobiliarios para que las personas las usen, muevan, configuren y ubiquen donde lo desean.
In this housing system, elements that favor comfort such as temperature, relative humidity, natural and artificial lighting, ventilation and the implementation of objects that meet the needs of the users and the functions for which they were designed are taken into account.
