If you collect Fossil watches, you no doubt collect the iconic tins as well. I designed one set of 4 tins featuring vintage stamps, mail & ticket stubs, and another set of 2 using vintage fabrics from the '60s & '70s.
Nearly all the stamps, tickets, letters and postcards came from my family collection. These designs are very close to my heart.
The tin on the right is my favorite. I spent hours making the color blend collage that wraps around the sides.
Some of the ticket stubs used for the tin on the left were from an art history trip I took in college.
I tried to make the bottoms just as interesting. The tin on the left is a close up of a gorgeous stamp. The tin on the right features the inside of an airmail envelope. I love the crosshatch pattern, and the fact that you can see the reverse images of the outside of the envelope.
Most of the fabrics used in the collages were from a dear relative's estate. He was an amazing, modern furniture designer in the '40s, and an interior designer in his later years.
