Lasercut Shadowbox

  • Lasercut Shadowbox
The following project is a response to the prompt to create something that used a cityscape of some sort using a collection of Rhino models made by other classmates as well as lasercutting. I decided to design an apartment and cut different squares from the flattened model to create many abstract line drawings. These were then arranged on a grid and I lasercut the deisgns on plexiglass in a way that they could be glued into a five-sided shape with dividers inside. It's designed to have lights shine through it from any angle to create original web-like patterns every time.
