The theme's description was as follows:
''In a forgotten time, at the shadow of colossals and mysterious pyramids, an ancient breed of men is building one the greatest civilisations the world has ever known: the Land of Kemet, Mansion of the Spirit of Ptah. The priests of the many temples of this land, custodians of esoteric knowledge, says that the power of their kingdom is a gift given to them by ancient beings, which power is beyond human comprehension. Beware then! Get ready to bow down and worship them.. or die. You are going to meet the mighty Egyptian Gods!''

My choice for the theme was Khonshu: the moon god; as I felt that his childish appearance and powers can add a different effect. The wikipedia page describes Khonshu's appearance as: typically depicted as a mummy with the symbol of childhood, a sidelock of hair, as well as the menat necklace with crook and flail. He has close links to other divine children such as Horus and Shu. He is sometimes shown wearing a falcon's head like Horus, with whom he is associated as a protector and healer, adorned with the sun disk and crescent moon.
The anthropomorphic version might create a confusion with other deities; like Horus. So, the decision was to take on the human form, with some modifications.
Some elements were abandoned for visualization and colour schemes: like the green skin, some elements were reduced: the amount of wrapping for the sake of movement, and other clothing elements were added for colours.
The idea was to have Khonshu, in a delightful mood, walking as a giant above earth at night, with a slim form,a giant stature, and a glowing stream of stars following his trail. His crowning moon disk would have a glow like the moon, and a sacred baboon as a familiar following him that is small in size to emphasize Khonshu's giganticism.
The picture depicts Khonshu; the god of the moon. Accompanied by his sacred baboon, they take their night passage in the sky and followed by stars to defend the travellers and aid with healing.
