This Design Foundations assignment explored 2D compositions, relationships in color and elements of personal and social identities through a self portrait.
It was required that the final work included the student’s fingerprint and representations of significant aspects of identity.
It also involved heavy research for illustration, composition and color inspiration.
This piece references my love for the performing arts, my appreciation for my Italian heritage, and the Art Deco design style that has and continues to inspire my work.
