"Bathouse" was a 2 person alumni exhibit featuring the illustration work of Phil Ashworth('05) and the sculptural ceramics of Travis Winters('06) held at Corning Community College's Atrium Gallery in the Spring of 2017. 

I had been working on a lot of illustrations and paintings for a year and a half leading up to the exhibit that were heavily influenced by neon signs and characters that inhabit that world of bodegas, bars, hotels and tourist traps of New York. When I was notified of the opening date I knew I wanted to have a cohesive theme running through the work I would display. Along with these new neon-influenced pieces I decided to include a few older illustrations that when all put together were cohesively showing my feelings and influences from living in New York City.
