Grad Show Exhibition Layout Concept

These were a few initial sketches I created to show our idea of how we could visually use the space and display our work. For our design we wanted to make sure theta the students had options for how to display their work... whether that be through a hanging display, a shelving area or folding work over a neutral framework. We considered what a variety of work the 86 students would have and how much space would be needed. We considered; installation, editorial, print, 3D, portfolio, interactive, video/animation.
For the university grad show we were given a brief to design the layout for the whole show and a concept behind it... we decided to create a 3D model for it to help pitch our idea. This video was day 1 of our model making. Collaboration project with Harriet Tomkins, Carrie Roberts and Chloe Smith-Blay.
