Daniela Teresa enjoys her life behind the camera. When working, she only has one thought in mind: to let her photographs tell a story. Her photos are in chronological order, but when displayed she allows the audience to make their own story. Daniela allows for the people to set the mood for each individual image. When behind the camera, she allows the environment to be in complete control. Daniela believes in capturing the beauty in what already exists; in the natural, effortless, unfiltered way of things. In her series, Public Transportation, she shows the life of the individuals who board Greensboro’s Transit Authority ranging in age, race, and class. She captures the many different bus stops, as well as the Depot, the meeting point for all of the buses. The series prompts the viewer to see that there is beauty and fascination even in the most common aspects of everyday life. Daniela Teresa’s curious and appreciative eye discovers both her passion for her environment, as well as the people in it, and displays it with every image.
