For my final project for Metals I, I made a ring out of sterling silver and a small moonstone. The project required I first etch a pattern into the silver using printmaking techniques I learned last semester. Then I cut the silver to a ring size 5.25 and made the ring band. I then had to make a bezel for the stone to set into, attaching the bezel to the band. The final step was setting the stone into the bezel.
