Morning Glory is a playful brand that removes a common negative point of drinking alcohol, the hangover. Using a new drug named ‘alcosynth,’ which replaces the alcohol in the drink, the body will be given the chemical effect of being drunk, but not cause the dry mouth and nausea of a hangover. To give the drink a more futuristic feel, the brand sits in a market of flavoured lagers, giving a classical drink a fruity twist to appeal more to the younger target market. The brand name itself offers a route for playful marketing to also appeal to a younger demographic, using humour and cheeky copywriting as a means to sell the product.
