Gap Year Infographics

The brief for this project was to design the equilvalent of an A2 infographic poster on tourism. I chose to design a series of four posters and four postcards, giving information on a Gap Year, to promote traveling for students.

The four infographic posters are A3 and the postcards are A5, give facts and information on four of the most popular city's to visit during a gap year, recommended by students and season travelers.

The purpose behind this concept was to show elements of adventure within the posters and postcards. The images use to make the collage were images of temples, statues, tourist attractions and elements of the currency, everything to do with the particular country in question. I wanted to bring back culture through the posters and postcards, so that people would get a real sense of the country just on a visual aspect alone.

The posters and postcards are distinguished by the collage style used, and how its shows the information in a unique way. The collages are handmade then scan in at 300dpi, then put together in Adobe Photoshop, and the posters and postcards were put together in Adobe illustrator and Adobe Indesign.
