For the past couple of years I've been teaching a digital sculpture workshop at Escena. The idea is for my students to create both a human and an animal to learn the basic tools in ZBrush, and then to pose both figures to create an illustration. To showcase the tools and processes, I do one myself during the course. Last year's was a teen holding an alligator gun, this time I wanted to do an octopus coiling around a woman. Above is a timelapse of the whole process, and below are the final results.
