Redesign the Kung Fu Tai Chi magazine.

SOLUTION

This redesign focus on drawing in young people who have been exposed to martial arts through electronic mediums, such as television and video games. While these images are usually described using square pixels, the triangular tiles give the same effect of simplicity while the giving energy that only diagonal lines can provide. After investigation in to the articles of the magazine, I found that many articles where aligned to Yin principles. Yin is a black shape with a white circle in the center, so the magazine also uses white on black. The next month would focus on Yang to provide balance.
