Grand Canyon Travel Posters
Typography has a way of subtly and not-so-subtly influencing the entire mood of an advertisement. When it comes to placing text on an image that is so striking it can stand alone, careful decision-making is required to allow both the image and the text to simultaneously stand alone and work together.
These travel posters promoting the Grand Canyon attempt to strike that balance, moving from subtle use of the text as above there it is placed in a shadow as to not draw attention from the scenery at all to more bold declarations in the images below.
