Alpaca is a keyhook with an interactive function: it becomes a memo machine that help you and your roommates to remember things.
Each person has his personalized kayring that activates the playback of his own “voice mail”.

This is a working prototype, developed with Arduino.
Users can register vocal messages for themselves or for their flatmates, thanks to a recorder module. Whit a state change - a keyring enters or is removed from its hole - the messages are played. Each person has his own keyring and its steel part has an unique shape. This part closes the contact only in its hole, so you can listen only to your messages.
I developed the code, created the circuits using Arduino and invented the mechanical mechanisms of the keys.
