The treasure chest. One of my favorite drawings ever. What I like about this artwork is that it has a clear function and story behind it. I started the drawing with this mysterious treasure chest in mind and a small story for it. Inside the treasure chest lives this all hungry monster and if you don’t feed the monster with a correct fruit, this box will eat you instead of giving the treasure inside it. So how to know what fruit is the correct one? I guess anyone who want’s to open the chest needs to find out how it was made, who made it and why. What is even more interesting is the treasure inside it. What could it be? Gold, immortality, diamonds, eternal youth? Treasure chests are always interesting because the inside is holding a mystery. This monster is part of a world I started creating a while ago.
