A "Night Out in Space" is a children's book about space, which is actually a book about life on earth. I believe that mankind is very much obsessed with space and life outside earth, while we have a wealth of life and exploring that we have not done in our own planet. The chance to write and make a children's book was a perfect way to channelize this inner instinct of mine.
I got an opportunity to work with the very amazing, Lisa Brown who guided me through this very fulfilling project.
Reya is a little girl who likes to space out about space when she isnt looking at it through her telescope.
She gets a chance to leave Earth for a bit with the help of her new friend who promises to show her wonderful life in outer space.
He does not fail on his promise and life in outer-space is truly remarkable. Reya is blown away, but her new friend reminds her about something closer to home.
Life on earth can be quite bizzare and wonderful too. Some of its life can seem quite alien to us, it just depends where we decide to look.
