TARGET USER
The target market is 1 to 2 person household who ages between 23 to 30. They love enjoying cups of hot beverage such as instant coffee or tea conveniently every day. For example, they always drink a few cups in the morning or in a short break from busy work.They look for a stylish, small and practical electric kettle that can match the modern style of interior. They need a kettle with smaller capacity ( 0.8 L) to fit small household use so they can avoid wasting energy on boiling unused water.
INSPIRATION
The design is inspired by 'Functional Simplicity' which emphasizes simple, clean lines, basic geometrical forms and monochrome color such as white, grey and black tones. The design is simple with some detail such as visual contrast of materials and surface finishing.
COMPONENTS STUDY
An existing electronic kettle was disassembled to study and analyze the construction and components, which ensure the new design is compatible with existing components.
