This bar stool exhibits the sign "vacant" on both its sides when not in use. When someone sits on it, applying pressure to the seat, the sign changes to "occupied."
Besides being a playful reference to certain door latches (particularly those in airplane bathrooms), this function is also a way for cafe and bar patrons to reserve a seat for someone they might be waiting for (the seat would assume its original position after 10 minutes without being used).
