The Blue World Institute was founded in 1999 as a non-profit organization, set up with the intention to carry out scientific research and conservation of the marine environment as well as educational activities. It operates on several locations on Lošinj, Murter and Vis Islands in Croatia. This year Institute is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the first Dolphin Day, an educational summer event, and 30 years of Adriatic Dolphin Project, and as a part art of this celebration they are launching the BWI art collection.
Eight artists from Croatia are participating with art-prints, silkscreens and offset prints, made for this occasion and forming the basis for the collection. I am very happy I was invited to contribute to this great initiative, with my artwork and as a designer of the catalog. Collection will be presented in Rijeka, Mali Lošinj, Split, Zagreb and in Veli Lošinj, the art-prints will be shown in exhibitions and up for sale.
