My first digital painting. I consider this to be a small step toward learning to paint. I've always admired oil paintings, specifically from Kit King and Martine Johanna and wanted to learn but I've always been intimidated by working with colours so I've never truly felt compelled to buy all the expensive materials just to learn and have it maybe not turn out well. So i figure i should learn digital painting with materials i already own to at least develop an understanding of what it's like to work with colour, foundation, highlights, lowlights, layering, etc and then when i feel comfortable, i will have the courage to approach real paint.
