"Pop Friction" label, container and ad

"Pop Friction" label
Label added to box using Photoshop.
Magazine advertisement intended for a magazines like the TV Guide. Meant to entice all movie enthusiasts. I wanted to keep the minimalist effect found with the pictogram icons.

We had to come up with a product and design the label, packaging and ad. It was to be geared towards a certain audience. I wanted to play off of the movie "Pulp Fiction" by Quentin Tarantino that was released in 1994. When holding the product in your hands, you rub your hands together which creates friction and heats the bag and then pops the kernels inside. Hence "Pop Friction." You will see playful hints to the movie "Pulp Fiction" throughout the product and advertisement like the typeface, the color scheme, a reference to Samuel L. Jackson, and more. I used Illustrator and InDesign to complete this project.
