‘Scenic Screen’ holds the aesthetic of ‘Sansuhwa’, which is a Korean landscape painting that is created with strokes of black ink of different intensity and thickness. The screen is not intended to completely divide a space, instead, it transitions one space to another naturally like the flow of mountains. This motif of transition also occurs in the weaving in the form of a subtle color gradation of the sky. The screen is very functional— it’s foldable, easy to move, and can easily be transformed into a shelf.
