We're All Angels

The challenge of this brief was to change people’s negative perception of the Victoria’s Secret brand as being over-sexualized, stodgy and favouring the ‘skinny’ body image.

Presenting ‘We’re all angles’. An illustrated, art deco themed campaign featuring illustrated models wearing the Victoria's Secret spring collection 2017.

The 1920’s female ideal completely changed from the years previous. Women could bin their corsets and start to celebrate looser fitting outfits with a boyish feel. Hair was cut short to represent the freedom of expression during the roaring twenties.

The campaign celebrates the art deco era and encourages women to feel good no matter what shape or size they are. The sophistication and glamour of the 1920’s is reflected, removing the over-sexualised aspect.
