All of the welcome signs in Rhode Island read, ‘Discover Rhode Island'. Providence, Rhode Island is a small city with the next generation of future leaders, designers and innovators, great food, and always has something going on. Brown, Johnson & Wales, and Providence College are a few of the universities in Providence. What once was an unsafe place to be is now budding with new restaurants and businesses who have made their mark are home to this small city. Hasbro and Textron are a large part of this city and help turn curious college students into industry professionals.
The idea for this campaign was to promote Rhode Island in some capacity. I specifically decided to focus on Providence as I attended Johnson & Wales University and knew this area best. While I was only in school for three years here, I saw the town grow enough to know that it is an up and coming town, and it will be a great tourist spot soon if not already.
