"The Devil Broke My Arm" [2009] was a performance and installation at Observatory Room (Brooklyn, NY). Curated by Herbert Pfostl, it consisted of found images and my own photographs, video stills and collages taken from my blog "Tarnished Pitch Cameras" (tinkeeknit.blogspot.com). The blog began as inspiration for songwriting, and is a practice of pairing images to create new, unexpected meanings. Pfostl wished to publicly recombine these images and my music (www.perfvgivm.com). Selected blog entries where printed to 35mm slides and projected in the space during the performance.
