硒鼓176这个项目原名：硒鼓印刷厂。是位于广州市鹤洞路176号的一个老印刷厂房，此项建于20世纪70年代，具有一定的历史底蕴。2016年政府决定对此老厂房进行改造，政府期望打造成为荔湾区的一座创意艺术地标。

根据对广州取名的习惯，广州人喜欢用自己的方言和街号取名，所以我们认为176是一个重要的信息，所以将原名改为：硒鼓176 ，英文改为粤语的音译 Saigu.

Saigu 176 the project original name was toner cartridge printing plant where it Is located in 176／ Hedong Rd Guangzhou City. It is an old printing plant that is built in the 20th century 70 years, which has a certain historical background. In 2016 the government decided to transform the old factory. The Government hopes to build a creative art landmark of Liwan District.
