A number of people who live in Beşiktaş have to move away because of re-generation of the district. Urban transformation in Beşiktaş will continue to take more and more people away from their habitats until 2020. Surely, residents are not delighted at this situation that forces them to leave their neighbourhoods for couple of years.

In order not to take residents out of their living habitat, a temporary housing is offered. This temporary life would serve residents during the lifetime of re-construction of their formal building and also, this temporary building would be de-constructed after the time period of urban transformation in Beşiktaş.

A place in Beşiktaş have choosen considering the life activation of the area. Therefore, Beşiktaş Bazaar area was selected, which is only activated one day during the week. In order not to cut bazaar life off, half of the bazaar area would be operated.

In order to operate construction easily and rapidly, the building has a simple plan setting, that is faced to south-east and a compact wet space organisation. Ground floors of each building part were configured according to their location considering the bazaar.

Quick and simple assemblies of elements were essentials in this structure. All elements of the building were considered and evaluated according to easier deconstructability. Therefore, undetachable components or complicated applications were avoided.

As bearing system steel beams and columns were proposed. KLH cross-laminated floor panels were situated, on this bearing system. These wooden panels are able to be applied quickly and do not need additional girders.

Wall system of the building was enhanced by using Aquapanels of Knauf. Additionally, taking advantage of gypsum boards' rapid assembly and pulling the wall system behind the columns provided time gain in construction.

Floor system, again, was designed by using Knauf systems of gypsum boards. Knauf Vidipan floor systems offer dry screed which was important component to select by considering the deconstruction of the building. Inner walls were improved with heat insulation materials to supply sound insulation demand, as well.
