Cause the Philanthropub

Brand Identity Campaign
Cause is a one-of-a-kind bar located in the popular U Street area in Washington D.C.  This philanthropic pub is dedicated to giving all of its profits to charity, both locally and globally.  In the interior, much of the furniture is made from reclaimed woods, art installations are created by local artists, and of course, the upscale food menu is made from local ingredients.  Branding for this project began from the birth of the idea of the non-profit bar.  The CAUSE stamp, much like a stamp on a passport, represents the global perspective of the two founders and  was created as their brand identity.  Art direction included collaborating with other artists in  interior design, menu design,  and video promotional work.  causedc.org
Additional design elements includes the silhouetted bottles with one bottle being the green one, translating to being the one bar in D.C.'s thriving bar scene to be, well, truly "green".
