Legend has it that, at the dawn of civilization, humans worshiped both day and night. Here, we make special mention of the absence of the sun. Night was described as a period of time in which the soul escapes the body and connects with its most primitive instincts. Those early humans venerated the nocturnal beasts that came out to fulfill their basic needs. For hundreds of years, these bipeds called humans, who are also classified as animals, incorporated customs they acquired from these savage behaviors. At the beginning of history, using symbolic representations that are primitive by today's standards, they built totems to venerate their gods and what they considered to be the conjunction of spiritual and earthly elements that gave meaning to life.
