I choose an image source to be featured in my project. Then, created a notan for the background and I designed three line designs to be featured in my project. With everything I picked, I am able to layer them and to create my final product. For the next part of this project I began to layer. First I graphite transferred the notan pattern on my illustration board. After that I traced my source imagery on tracing paper and then I traced it onto my project. Finally, I then decided where I would place my line designs.Once I was done working with pencil, I began to ink. I decided to show the source image as much as possible. I would choose opposite colors where the source image was and then I would switch the color when the source image would overlap with the notan.
