Samurai Armor Costume

Another project of mine, from my high school days that I created in my spare time was an imitation Samurai Costume. Created entirely from scratch and made from a variety of materials. The “armor plates” are strips of cardboard, covered with aluminium tape, punched with holes, then painted. The binding cords are in fact countless pares of shoe laces. While the sleeves and thigh guards are made using ornate pillow covers. All in all this project took over Three months to complete.
Here is the back view of the suit.
