There are theories about why men and women are given theroles they have and treated the way they are. One theory is rooted in the worldmost red text, the bible and the story of Adam and Eve. Eve was the worstsinner, as she was the one tempted and who picked the fruit. What differencewould it have made if Adam picked the apple? Would men be the ones staying athome, playing with dolls and be overly treated as posessions trough history?Would Ken be the main doll instead of Barbie?
I am not trying to answer these questions. Just commentingon the story and how it is a relevant stone in the foundation of our house ofgender stereotypes.
