The Olympics in 2012 took place in London and the buzz caught up pretty fast. There was plenty of talk, advertising and celebrations of one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

I wanted to create something to mark the games to use the iconic Olympic Rings in the process. The background scene is a stock photo (by aschaeffer) I found and you can see it here. The sky was simply clouds that I made with the brush tool and added behind the image of London. I then used the ‘Oil Paint’ option and adjusted the levels of the image so as to create a silhouetted London.
