Collaboration with a senior fashion design student at Philadelphia University. Handwoven fabric created with a variety of materials including various fiber types, leather strips, plastic strips and bits of metallic material throughout. Variety of weave structures including a fancy basket, crows-foot, and plain weave. Final fabric was used as a panel for the back of a coat as well as large pockets. This handwoven was a balance of hard and soft materials and the end product was created to highlight this handwoven.
