In the wake of every mass shooting, politicians follow suit with their own barrage of tweets and prayers. Yet time after time, they actively work to prevent sensible gun laws being passed. We created Laws Not Tweets to catalogue their hypocrisy and give people the tools to hold their elected representatives accountable. Our campaign won three Hatch silvers, was mentioned in The Boston Globe, and was re-tweeted by Igor Volsky of ThinkProgress.
