Abalone
This set of bowls was created after being inspired by the Abalone shells in the RISD nature lab. The bowls capture the shells' characteristic row of respiratory pores and iridescence through heat patina, piercing and other metalsmithing skiis. Each bowl has a color, texture and form different from one another.
