Arsenic Contamination magazine spreads
My teammate, Jenna Sullivan, and I chose to design magazine spreads for an article we found in UTNE Reader's Environmental section. The article titled "Arsenic Contamination in Graveyards" discusses the lasting effects of arsenic found in our water systems dating back to the civil war. We fused the past with the present by incorporating vintage apothecary label typography with a modern illustration style. The technical line illustrations convey the idea of these unnatural scientific inventions during the 1860's negatively impacting us and the environment still today.
