The scene was shot on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, on 35mm film.
It was scanned and converted to jpg. Nothing else ;)

The grain and the optical quality was part of the style. I know, it could be sharper but it was a request, so please don't judge the sharpness.

I had a light meter there but shooting film in such a changing scenery is a lot easier than digital. All the highlights are in the range and you don't have to fix it in the post.
