The project is a try to reflect on the current affairs related to children. Although the world economy is developing, although we think we learn from our mistakes, the child's fate is at stake. Many children still die due to the lack of nourishment, proper care or lack of vaccination, the others are victims of home violence or war. The pattern inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s sketches shows contradictions: life and death at the same time, its struggle and finally its defeat. It confronts life which the fetus embodies and death coming from what happens currently.
On the other hand, it symbolizes the moment we lose our best traits while entering the world of pain, dishonour, lies etc. Or maybe our souls are dead from the very beginning?
