Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Illustrations
These are illustrations done in either Photoshop, Illustrator or a combination of both
One of the advantages of having degrees in Industrial Design, Communication Design and an extensive background in Ceramics, Sculpture, and wood working is the ability to think and visualize things in three dimensions. While doing illustrations and photo renderings, I'm visualizing how they would be in real life. Turning things around in virtual space to figure out how the shadows, reflections and highlights would be.

This section will be a work-in-progress so please keep stopping by and see what I've uploaded. Comments are always welcome.

Cheers!
This is a combination of illustrator and photographic images. Much of it was done in Illustrator then imported into Photoshop and back again if needed. The gauge was modeled after a vintage Hamilton Ventura watch. I had wanted to do a series of Steampunk-inspired illustrations.
This was a layered photoshop file I gave to my students to show them how to use layers in Photoshop to their advantage when retouching and illustrating. This was done entirely in Adobe Photoshop in about 45 minutes
This was an assignment I gave to my students so they would learn how to create shapes and use gradient fills in Adobe Illustrator. This was the sample I created based on a photo of an old Nikon camera

These are quick sketches done in Illustrator and pencil just for fun.
